El libro “LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychological Interventions. A Latine/x Perspective”, donde la Dra. Alemka Tomicic y el Dr. Claudio Martínez, de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Diego Portales, son autores de un capítulo, fue reconocido con el premio Distinguished Book Award, por parte de la American Psychological Association. Division 44 Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity. El capítulo escrito por Martínez y Tomicic se titula "Psychotherapy and Affirmative Practices with Trans and Gender Non-conforming (TGNC) Patients in Chile".
